BoFEP is a widely dispersed "Virtual Institute" open to all interested
citizens and groups who share its vision for protecting, conserving and sustainably
using the Bay of Fundy ecosystem.
According to the
BoFEP Constitution: "The membership
shall consist of any individual or representative of an organization that registers as
such and supports the purpose of the Partnership and reconfirms such membership from time
to time as required by the Steering Committee".
In November 2007, the Steering Committee approved a motion
to have an annual Membership Fee for
BoFEP. The issue of having a paying membership generated
considerable discussion.
But the bottom line is that we simply have to raise our monies from
several different sources and a modest contribution from individual BoFEP
members will greatly help support our operations. Hence, it is hoped that
you and/or your organization will support this initiative and contribute
generously in an appropriate membership category (see
form below).
